My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy toward education revolves around student centered styles of education. As an educator I believe that classrooms should better reflect the needs of the students that learn in them. Students bring new perspectives, thoughts, and ideas into the classroom. Therefore, it is important that they are shown respect as complex individuals and be allowed more power in their educational experience. To be a teacher is a great responsibility as your classroom is a foundation, which students rely on to develop their lives and better understand of the world.
